based on a multitude of resources; books, magazines,
personal interviews, museum visits, and travels to
battlefields, cemeteries, and historic sites in Europe and
Japan. A talented storyteller, Pat weaves fact with
word pictures to integrate history and personal experiences,
revealing the strengths and weaknesses which impacted the outcome
of the conflict. There is no agenda in this program -
simply a desire to assist students in understanding the need
to remember the lessons learned from this event.
